Nam Hong Welfare Service Society is solely dependent on public donation and does not obtain any funding from the government or the National Council of Social Service. We require donations in order to sustain our services.
As a smaller charity, we are limited in fund-raising capabilities and capacity to organising fund-raising projects. Therefore we need the support of the community. We count on the support and encouragement we receive from donors like you to continue with our work of helping the elderly and disadvantaged. Every generous contribution enables us to continue to better serve them and every dollar is maximally utilised towards bringing the greatest impact to our beneficiaries.
You can donate directly to Nam Hong Welfare Service Society or partake in any of our fund-raising events. You may also specify the particular cause you wish to donate towards, such as Free Medical Service, Afterlife Care or Bursary etc. Tax exemption of 2.5 times is available for all monetary donations. Conversely, donations in-kind and legacy gifts are also welcome. All non-specific donations will go directly towards supporting our programmes and services, and applied for dollar-for-dollar matching up to $250,000 per ongoing fundraising campaign, as part of the Enhanced Fund-Raising (EFR) Programme under ToteBoard.
